- certified copy of your identity document
- Certified copy of your Senior Certificate/National Senior Certificate or equivalent
- Certified Grade 11 report (if you are currently in grade 12)
- Your grade 12 June report (if you are currently in grade 12)
How to Apply at the University of Venda (UNIVEN)—2025
Applications for the University of Venda (UNIVEN) 2025 can be submitted online through the UNIVEN application portal.
Follow the steps below on how to apply online at UNIVEN for the 2025 academic year.
- Visit the Univen application site HERE.
- Click on the “Start Online Application Process” tab
- Answer few question then, accept the application rules and click “continue”
- Capture your biographical information and click “next” to proceed with your application;
- Capture your next of kin information and click next to proceed with your application
- Capture results details then add subjects and click “next”;
- Capture educational institution detail and click “next”;
- Capture academic application details (choose 2 choices/programmes you wish to apply for), click on “add qualification” and thereafter click “next”;
- Verify/Check your application details then click “continue”;
- Create your 5 digit PIN (e.g 24689), click “I accept”(twice) checkbox thereafter click “Submit Application”;
- Upload your documents, select “yes” on the dropdown list if all your documents are ready to be uploaded and then click “next”;
- Click “Load/View Document” >> “Upload document” >> “Choose/Browse file” go to the folder where your documents are stored, choose the relevant document and click “save”;
- Once all documents have been uploaded click “complete upload”;
- Confirmation Page, end of application

Good news! You don’t have to pay any application fees, as an application fee is not required for your applications to be considered for admission at University of Venda (UNIVEN)

The University of Venda has different closing dates depending on the study program. It is recommended that applicants apply early to receive priority consideration and feedback. Please note that applications submitted after September 30th, 2024 will not be considered.
