A trimmed mean is a method of finding a more realistic average value by getting rid of extreme observations. In this type of means, an equal percentage of highest and lowest values are cut out from both the extremes of the dataset.
To compute the trimmed mean of a dataset, input a list of values separated by commas and specify the percentage of values to trim. Afterwards, click the "Calculate" button:
