Requirements for the Santam Bursary Programme
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be South African citizens.
- Be studying towards a Postgraduate Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, or Honours degree in one of the listed fields.
- Be starting their second, third, or final year of undergraduate studies or Honours studies in 2025.
- Be studying at a recognised and registered tertiary institution in South Africa.
- Have achieved a minimum of 65% in their undergraduate studies and recent examinations.
- Be interested in pursuing a career in the short-term insurance industry.
Additional Requirements for Agriculture Students:
- Be studying a two/three-year Agricultural qualification focusing on crop production or an Agricultural degree/diploma with plant production and/or soil science as preferred subjects.
- Be assertive with good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Have Microsoft Excel skills.
- Possess good negotiation and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
- Be flexible, self-motivated, and a team player.
